Kuwaiti teenage abducts female teenaged compatriot

(MENAFN- Arab Times) A Kuwaiti teenaged boy was arrested for kidnapping a female teenaged compatriot. It has been reported that a team of Hawally securitymen was patrolling along the Arabian Gulf Road late at night recently when they saw the two teenagers sitting on the side of the road. After noticing the police vehicle, they tried to hide but the officers approached them and requested for their identification cards. Since the teenagers failed to present any identification document, the officers took them to the police station. Initial investigations revealed the girl's father had filed a missing persons report on her a few days ago, so the officers summoned him to the station. When the father arrived at the station, he filed a case against the boy for purportedly kidnapping his daughter. The boy is still detained at the station awaiting completion of the necessary legal procedures and then he will be referred to the Public Prosecution.
