(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Two Asian workers were killed when a pit-dug as part of a sewerage project caved in at Al Zafrana neighbourhood of Al Khubaisi area in Al Ain on Tuesday.
Brigadier Hamad Ajlan Al Amimi, Director of Al Ain Directorate, said that an employee of the company executing the sewerage project, reported the incident to the Al Ain Police.
Policemen of Al Maqam Police Station, emergency and public safety section and security inspection division, as well as the Civil Defence department in Al Ain immediately reached the accident site and pulled out the bodies of the two men.Investigations are on to identify the cause of the incident.
