Kuwait- Two arrested for hoax bomb call


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Two unidentified Arab nationals have been arrested for making a hoax call recently about a bomb in Humoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah High School in Khaitan, reports Al- Anba daily. After receiving information about the bomb in school, securitymen rushed to the location and checked it but did not find any bomb. Realizing that it was a hoax call, securitymen traced the call and managed to identify the callers. They were arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them. Meanwhile, three individuals were arrested recently in Salmiya for consuming alcohol, reports Al- Watan Arabic daily. While Hawally securitymen were patrolling Salmiya, they noticed a vehicle with three occupants violating a traffic rule. When they stopped the driver for checking, the three individuals started verbally abusing the securitymen. Securitymen checked their details and discovered that one is an employee of Ministry of Interior, second is an employee of National Guard while the third was unemployed. Detecting the smell of alcohol from them, securitymen checked the vehicle and found a bottle of locally brewed liquor. They were arrested and referred to Salmiya Police Station for necessary legal action against them.
