Presenting Computer Literacy Programs


(MENAFNEditorial) AMMAN-----May 11, 2013----- Jordan's Ministry of Education (MoE) has awarded Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Cambridge Information Technology Skills Center a tender to implement the International Diploma in IT Skills tests validated by Cambridge International Examinations (CIE). The tender entails the requirement to conduct 100.000 IT skills tests through the educational process in addition to training 50 MoE's trainers to become certified information technology instructors. Workshops and training sessions are also planned for heads of exam rooms and test supervisors. Mr. Salah Abu Osbeh, Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Cambridge Information Technology Skills Center executive director said: "We are really honored to be part of the Ministry of Education's future plans and we believe that it is part of our duty based on HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh's vision and directions regarding the need to develop education and promote awareness." "The Center implemented several programs in other Arab countries and the program has been accredited and recognized by several Arab governments and official bodies. It provided Oman Information Technology Authority with IT training and testing for 30000 government employees, the Saudi Arabian Technical and Vocational Training Corporation in Saudi Arabia also recognize the diploma in addition to Yemen, the UAE, Kuwait, Egypt , and other countries" he added. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Cambridge Information Technology Training Center was established as a result of an agreement that was signed between Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization, and Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) to deliver validated testing for IT courses online, as well as additional learning resources. The aim is to prepare prospective candidates for the International Diploma in IT Skills tests. Individuals who successfully complete this course are awarded the International Diploma in IT Skills.
