UAE- Eros Group kicks off 'pass it on' initiative


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Eros Group, leading distributors of world renowned brands, has announced their fourth series of much acclaimed 'pass it on' initiative with Greenfield Community School (GCS). The awareness campaign which is in its fourth year now, is in conjunction with 'Take My Junk' and aims at reducing electronic waste through extending the life cycle of electronic products by giving them away to those less fortunate. Speaking about the noble initiative, Niranjan Gidwani, deputy CEO, Eros Group, said: "We are pleased to announce the Pass it On Initiative with Greenfield Community School. This is the third school we are partnering with and we would like more schools to embrace this initiative." The 'pass it on' campaign was kick started in Greenfield Community School with a forum for students, parents, visitors and teachers to tackle the e-waste problem in the UAE. Through the forum, the audience was encouraged to make a commitment to make use of unwanted products by giving them away or passing them on. During the one month long campaign at GCS, Eros group will organise various sessions for the parents to create awareness on the benefits of electronic 'reduce, reuse and recycle'.
