(MENAFN- Arab Times) A team of officers from the General Criminal Investigation Department has conducted a crackdown in Hawalli, leading to the arrest 30 expatriates residing illegally in the country.
The officers checked cafés and other establishments in the area, resulting in the arrest of 30 expatriates who have no valid residential permits and some of them are wanted by law for their involvement in civil cases. All of them were referred to the concerned security department for the necessary legal action.
