(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Personal Status Court chaired by Justice Abdullah Al-Saleh proved the marriage contract of a Bedoun woman who got married 25 years ago, even though the husband is out of the country.
The plaintiff Attorney Nour Haidar argued that her client was married to a Bedoun on Oct 1, 1988 by one religious cleric, and she gave birth to a girl in April 1990. The husband migrated to another country during the Iraqi invasion leaving his family behind.
According to Attorney Haidar, his client will be able to obtain identification for her daughter who is now 23 years old after proving a marriage that occurred for 25 years ago.
