(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) An Asian man has died after falling from the balcony of his flat in the Silicon Oasis area in Dubai.
The police investigations revealed no criminal act behind the incident and suspect it as suicide.
A source from the Dubai Police said that they received a call at 6.40am informing that a man fell from the 15th floor of a 25-storey residential building.
The police said that the neighbours spotted the body of the man lying in a pool of blood. He added that the victim was living with his family, who, during the police interrogation, said that the man was in a bad psychological state due to some personal problems. Forensic experts also found fingerprints from the victim on the balcony from where he plunged to death.
The source said that three patrols of Rashidya Police Station, a forensic science expert and forensic medicine experts were all at the accident scene carrying out the necessary examinations after cordoning off the area.
The body of the victim was transported to the General Department of Forensic Medicine and will be handed back to his family after completion of legal and administrative procedures. Â
