(MENAFN- Arab Times) Two passengers from Kuwait, a 32-year old Lebanese national and a 35-year old Syrian national, were arrested on Friday at Rafik Hariri International Airport in Beirut for carrying 76 military uniforms in four suitcases weighing 125 kilograms, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
However, top Lebanese judicial sources revealed that the uniforms the customs officers had confiscated were not military uniforms but were hunting clothes.
They said the customs officers issued a ticket against the two men who had paid fines.
After consulting with the Military Prosecution, the case was referred to the Lebanese Army Intelligence Directorate for further investigations.
