Kuwait- Drugs seized from inmates


(MENAFN- Arab Times) An intensive inspection campaign was launched by the administration of the Central Prison recently during which they seized 210 grams of heroin that was hidden inside a television, reports Al-Anba daily. Interrogations with some inmates revealed that the drugs belonged to a Kuwaiti inmate. However, he denied owning the drugs and has been referred for further investigations. Meanwhile, the guards of Central Prison seized a Kuwaiti inmate in possession of 150 grams of methamphetamine, locally known as 'Shapu'. The suspect had hidden the drugs in a sensitive area of his body.
