China to cut gasoline, diesel prices


(MENAFN) China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) announced that it will cut gasoline and diesel prices as a result of lower global oil prices, reported Xinhua News. The top economic planner gasoline retail prices will be slashed by USD63.32 per ton, while diesel prices will be slashed by USD64.13 per ton. The NDRC noted that the benchmark retail price of gasoline will be reduced by USD0.046 per liter and diesel by USD0.054 per liter. It added that price regulators have considered changes in the average prices in global markets during the last 10 working days when amending the fuel rates.
