(MENAFN) LG Display Co Ltd announced that during the first quarter, its operating profit reached USD135 million, compared with a loss of USD184.2 million in the previous year, reported Reuters. The quarter was the fourth straight in which the company records profit after seven consecutive losses. The South Korean firm said that sales of tablet and smartphone panels, which are largely acquired by Apple Inc, represented 27 percent of total screen sales compared with 31 percent in the previous quarter.
