Kuwait to host Developing Creativity Conference


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait will host on Sunday Developing Creativity conference, with participation of local and international experts, to discuss the issue globally and in the Arab world at individual and organizational levels. Head of Board of Directors for Gulf Innovation Company Tariq Al-Suwaidan said in a statement on Saturday the conference deals with the concept of innovation in the Arab world, considering importance of this science in developing performance of organizations and making a quantum leap in decision-making. Al-Suwaidan said developing creativity combines all dimensions of developing this science and converging with aspirations of individuals and organizations and innovative ideas that combine theory and practice, thus paving the way for actual shift from a traditional economy to a knowledge-based economy. Adding, he said creativity on both individual and organizational levels is gaining great importance in developing the human being as an individual, as well as organizations and companies, yet in order for this equation to be complete, two more factors must be added as how to learn and use creativity. For his part, General Manager of the company Ahmed Sharbaji said the conference would open horizons to build a new science in developing creativity in the near future. The conference of the creative industry, which will last for three days, will be attended by most important creative makers globally and regionally, led by Dr. John Kao, Dr. Saad Al-Barrak and Dr. Tariq Al-Habib.
