Burberry's Q4 sales up 10% to USD772m

(MENAFN) Burberry Group Plc CFO, Stacey Cartwright, announced that the company's sales grew 10 percent to USD772 million in the fourth quarter, excluding currency shifts, reported Bloomberg. In the second half, sales jumped 15 percent in the Asia-Pacific region, and posted a gain of 7 percent in the Americas and 4 percent in Europe excluding currencies. Cartwright said that in the 6-month period, comparable store sales increased 7 percent. It is worth noting that during the current fiscal year, the UK's largest luxury-goods maker plans to launch nearly 25 so-called mainline stores and close 15, and to open around 10 concessions and close 10.
