Kuwait- Iranian plane sent back

(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Directorate-General of Civil Aviation yesterday morning forced an Iranian airliner to return with all passengers because it did not comply with the international laws, reports Al-Seyassah daily. According to knowledgeable airport sources the plane arrived from Isfahan, Iran and landed at the Kuwait International Airport at 07:00 am. The authorities did not allow the 50 passengers to enter Kuwait because none of them had entry visas and moreover the Kuwaiti authorities had no prior information about the arrival of these passengers. The plane was forced to takeoff at 2:50 pm. The daily also said the airport staff members are being interrogated how the plane was allowed to land without prior permission. Aviation laws stipulate that permission should be granted at least twenty-four hours before the arrival of the plane.
