US Feb trade gap shrinks to USD43b


(MENAFN) The US Commerce department announced that the country's trade gap fell to around USD43 billion in February, reported Xinhua News. The department attributed the decline to a gain of 0.8 percent in the month's exports, which reached USD186 billion. It added that imports didn't post any notable change from January, standing at USD228.9 billion. The country's trade deficit, which declined to USD539.5 billion last year, was at USD44.5 billion in January.
