(MENAFN- Arab Times) Police have arrested an unidentified young American man following a complaint filed by a compatriot woman, believed to be his ex-wife, for allegedly threatening to kill her, reports Al-Rai daily.
The man during interrogation said the woman is his ex-wife and wanted to begin anew the relationship.
He added, initially he began by requesting her to be his friend, a story refuted by the complainant.
The woman reportedly played a recording on her cell phone which shows the man threatening to cause her harm.
Earlier it was reported the Sabah Al-Salem police were looking for an unidentified Kuwaiti man for allegedly threatening to kill a 21-year-old American woman.
The woman in her complaint to the police had said she received the threats on her cell phone. Â
