(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) Rolex, Title Sponsor of the 2013 Formula 1, Rolex Australian Grand Prix and Global Partner of F1, marked the start of its long-term partnership with the pinnacle of motor sport by unveiling the new Rolex pit lane clock at the Albert Park circuit on the first day of the 2013 season.
This partnership reinforces Rolex's commitment to motor racing and its support of global sport at the very highest level. It brings together two leaders in their fields who share a passion for performance, precision, excellence and new technology. It is part of a strategic move by Rolex to focus its sponsorship activities on ventures chosen for their strong symbolic value and their global resonance.

The iconic clock face on a pit lane gantry has been specially designed and created to be present at all 19 Formula 1 races through the year.
It forms the centrepiece of Rolex's new presence around the circuit at each Grand Prix, which also includes on-track visibility such as bridges carrying the distinctive Rolex brand logo. Rolex clocks are already seen worldwide at more than 150 prestigious sporting events, including tennis, golf, sailing and equestrian competitions.
