(MENAFN- Arab Times) Police have arrested a Kuwaiti man who wanted by law for issuing dud cheques worth KD 76, 000, reports Al-Rai daily.
A security source said the swindler claimed he was establishing an import/export company and purchased furniture, cell phones and other stuffs from companies on the strength of postdated cheques.
When the companies failed to cash the cheques they filed a complaint against the man and a court sentenced the man in absentia.
He has been handed over to the Sentences Enforcement Department. Â
