Chinese Heilongjiang to deepen trade partnership with Russia


(MENAFN) The Chinese Heilongjiang Province government is considering boosting their business with Russia in two years by USD1 billion, reported Xinhua News. The province is increasing its efforts to further raise its trade volume with the neighboring country to USD26 billion by 2015. Meanwhile, the end of the decade, the province aims at increasing investments in Russia by USD2 billion and to lift trade volume to USD52 billion. Statistics communique indicates that the level of economic and trade cooperation with Russia grew by 12.2 percent to USD21.3 billion last year from 2011. It's worth mentioning that Heilongjiang contributes with a quarter of China's total trade with Russia, with the two countries looking forward to increasing mutual trade to USD100 billion by 2015.
