Kuwait- 8,000 pills seized

(MENAFN- Arab Times) Customs officers at Luxor International Airport in Egypt recently foiled the attempt by an Egyptian to smuggle 8,000 narcotic pills to Kuwait. The officers uncovered the smuggling attempt when they noticed black spots in the packages of frozen meat inside the suspect's luggage. They took one piece of meat and sliced it after thawing, leading to the discovery of some narcotic pills. They then took the same procedures with the remaining meat packages and they found 8,000 narcotic pills. The suspect was referred to the Public Prosecution for interrogation and other necessary legal action.
