Kuwait- Murder victim's kin agree blood money

(MENAFN- Arab Times) The parents of a Saudi youth, whom a Kuwaiti citizen stabbed and killed two years ago in Makkah, have agreed to accept blood money from the family of the Kuwaiti citizen. Two years ago, the Kuwaiti youth went to Makkah in Saudi Arabia with his mother to perform Hajj ritual and stayed at the location where the Saudi victim resided. The victim allegedly used to verbally harass the Kuwaiti youth and at one particular occasion when the suspect was at a grocery store, the Saudi victim insulted him. Out of anger, the suspect grabbed a knife from the store and stabbed the victim. Even though the suspect tried to save the victim and took him to a hospital, the victim died. Reportedly, the family of the Kuwaiti citizen had made several attempts to offer blood money to the victim's family but the victim's father had refused to accept the blood money.
