(MENAFN - Qatar News Agency) The Kingdom of Bahrain hosts the Arab Banking Conference2013 under the auspices and in the presence of Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister in the period 3-4 April 2013 on the sidelines of the annual general meeting (AGM) of the Arab Banking Federation in addition to its board of directors meeting.
The conference will be organized by the Federation of Arab Banks in cooperation with the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) under the theme: (Requirements for Sustainable Socio-Economic Development).
The event is expected to attract leading Arab and international financial and banking organizations interested in socio-economic development requirements. The conference sheds light on the significance of socio-economic development in the Arab world nowadays, boosting inter-Arab investments, creation of job opportunities for Arab youths, combating poverty, amassing capabilities available in the public and the private sectors to usher in a phase of reconstruction and restoration in Arab countries which suffered from developments and incidents.
Other topics on working on investing human and natural resources, capital funds available, facilitation of investment activities, boosting the role of the private sector as a key partner in development and benefitting from giant Arab banks' potentials for boosting development in Arab countries, will also be taken up.
