(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) The Muscat Electricity Distribution Company (MEDC) officially inaugurated its first customer service outlet in Qurum City Center on Tuesday, under the patronage of Eng Zahir al Abri, general manager, Mazoon Electricity Company.

''As a company that touches lives of people every day, it is necessary that MEDC's support services are designed to exceed the needs, expectations, and requirements of the customers,'' Eng Abri said.
''Its goals are to minimise customer downtime, address issues speedily and improve the overall customer experience.''

The launch of the new outlet in key shopping malls is said to be part of MEDC's comprehensive customer support plan.

Hussain bin Ali, customer service manager, MEDC, said, ''Qurum City Centre is a significant commercial centre, and by opening an outlet here it will be easier for our customers to approach us.
''We also plan to open similar outlets in Amerat.''

The outlet will remain open on all days, including weekends, from 10am to 10pm, and will register customers' requests and transfer them to relevant branche
