(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) Munich Development Group (MDG) recently held its Performance meets Professionals' event under the auspices of H H Sayyid Azzan Barghash al Said.
The event was attended by H E Hans-Christian Freiherr von Reibnitz, the German Ambassador to Oman as well as human resource professionals from the sultanate's public and private sectors.
MDG, which specialises in human resource development (HRD), invited director Karl Heinrich from its Munich office to speak on the topic of talent management.
In his opening speech, H E von Reibnitz highlighted the impact of training on an organisation's growth and developments, which are essential factors in staying ahead in today's fast-changing business environment.
Meanwhile, keynote speaker Heinrich spoke on the significance of talent management as a result of the complexity of today's job market. ''The company as a whole reaps tremendous benefits if an individual is supported during his stint.''
Speaking on the occasion, George Eichenberg, managing partner of MDG, which was founded in 2000 in Munich, Germany, and now also operates out of Muscat said, ''MDG designs and conducts highly interactive workshops in the area of human resources development, promoting a strict learning by doing' approach in small groups.
