(MENAFN - Arab Times) Three drunken Kuwaitis exchanged blows at a camp in Kabad area, and one of them sustained head injury in the process. Sources said the injured man escaped on foot and asked a driver to take him to the Farwaniya Hospital. Later, securitymen went to the camp and arrested the other two compatriots. They were referred to the relevant authority for necessary action.
Bangladeshi mugged: A person in sport gear attacked a Bangladeshi expatriate and stole his mobile plus KD 50 cash in Jleeb Shuyoukh area. The suspect is reported to have escaped after the incident. The victim provided securitymen with description of the suspect, and a case was registered for investigation. Also, an unidentified person stole motorbike from the home of a Kuwaiti woman in Andalous area. Criminal Evidences personnel rushed to the scene and lifted fingerprint to trail the suspect after the lady notified security operatives about the theft. A case was registered.
450 people arrested: Field operations team headed by Major General Suleiman Al-Fahad initiated security campaign and arrested 450 people wanted by law for various criminal offenses. The suspects, including employees working for other sponsors and those under Article 20, were arrested at Souq Jumaa and Khayam area.
An Interior Ministry press release said Assistant Undersecretary for General Security Affairs Major General Mahmoud Al-Dousari and other high ranking officials participated in the campaign.
Security Media Department of the Interior Ministry stated a comprehensive security plan was prepared to follow up those wanted by law for criminal offenses and visa violations, in addition to those pestering citizens and expatriates in residential areas. This is part of efforts by the sector to clear the neighborhoods of criminals and illegal activities.
Attempt to molest 9-yr-old girl: An unidentified Egyptian man has filed a complaint with the Salmiya Police Station accusing an unidentified person of attempting to molest his 9-year-old daughter inside the elevator of the building where he lives, reports Annahar daily.
Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identify the culprits.
