(MENAFN) Kuwait China Investment Company (KCIC) stated that its 2012 profit reached USD18.21 million, up from a loss of USD32.53 million in 2011, reported Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

The company, which was formally incorporated on December 12, 2005 by an Amiri Decree, said that assets stood at USD334.80 million at the end of the year.

Meanwhile, shareholder equity grew to USD296.2 million, compared with USD276.54 million.

It is worth noting that KCIC was established with a total capital USD280 million.
