Etihad flights switched to Amman hub


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Etihad Airways has announced switching of flights from Abu Dhabi to Amman's new Queen Alia International Airport, which began on March 10. Capt Richard Hill, Etihad chief operations officer, said: "We believe moving to the new airport is a positive step which will continue to meet our guests' expectations of travelling with the world's leading airline." The new airport is designed to accommodate the rapid increase in passenger numbers and is expected to almost triple the airport's capacity.
