Kuwait- Surprise checks on cards to round up illegals, criminals


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Assistant Undersecretary for General Security and field commander Lt. General Suleiman Al-Fahd has prepared an unprecedented security plan to arrest residence and labor law violators and those wanted by law, reports Al-Shahed daily. Security sources pointed out security crackdowns led by Al-Fahd have resulted in the arrest of a large number of offenders and persons wanted by law. The main aspect of the security plan is surprise inspection campaigns by closing all entry and exit points to prevent wanted persons from escaping. The sources said the campaigns are carried out by the Ministry of Interior in coordination with all security sectors. The sources added the campaigns will be carried out all over the country. The sources noted Al-Fahd, in coordination with the Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic Affairs Major-General Mustafa Al-Zaabi, is determined to combat the phenomena of recklessness and frivolity which is usually seen in certain areas.
