(MENAFN - Emirates News Agency (WAM)) The Fiscal and Economic Committee today reviewed the budgeting plan for the term 2014-2016 presented by the Ministry of Finance and projected estimates of revenues in order to project expenditures for the said years.
Chaired by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, the Committee examined the monetary liquidity of the federal government from January to December 2013 and requests for additional allocations submitted by some entities for the fiscal year 2013 and took appropriate actions on them.
The Committee has instructed the Ministry of Finance prepare, in coordination with other federal ministries and entities, the draft budget for 2014-2016.
H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Deputy Chairman of the Committee, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Public Works, Mohammed Abdullah Al Gargawi, Minister for Cabinet Affairs, Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, and Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, were present at the meeting which took place at the Presidential Palace.
