Kuwait- Dental clinic fined


(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Court of Cassation ordered a notable private dental clinic to pay KD 15,000 in compensation to a Kuwaiti woman for damaging her teeth. On behalf of his client, Attorney Mohammad Zaar Al-Otaibi sued the clinic that examined her teeth and decided the set of teeth needed makeover at the cost of KD 8,000. The case file indicated the plaintiff agreed to the recommendation and paid the sum, and three months after completing treatment, the pain re-emerged. As a result, she visited one government hospital and was told some of the teeth have not been treated, while others are damaged.
