(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait's Public Authority for Industry (PAI) participates in the International Building Construction Show, known as "Big Five, Saudi - 2013," which kicked off here Saturday.
"The Big Five is an important event which should not be missed from any entity interested in construction industry," Director of PAI's Promotion and Export Department. Eng. Zainab Hussein told KUNA.
Hussein added that the show is a golden platform for all construction and building materials companies from the four corners of the globe.
She said PAI has booked a big pavilion for Kuwaiti companies to take part in the exhibition and nearly 15 companies have joined the show.
Though direct sale is not allowed in the show, but companies could conclude different kinds of agreements including agency, partnership, training and cooperation pacts, noted Hussein.
The Big 5 Saudi hosts more than 550 exhibitors from 36 countries, as well as a series of certified educational workshops taking place alongside on topics including LEED and Concrete Repair. Each specialized sector will be located in a particular area of the exhibition, with the Concrete Zone bringing together the very latest products and technologies in concrete from around the world.
The Big 5 Saudi - the International Building Construction Show, part of The Big 5 brand is the largest event of its kind in Saudi Arabia.
Launched in 2011, the show has grown by 100 percent. Alongside the event, training workshops ensure delegates are updated on the latest information on a range of topics from sustainability, concrete repair and facilities management.
The Big 5 Saudi will take place from 9-12 March 2013, open from 16:00-22:00 daily.
