Dubai- Paperworld and Playworld underline regional potential 

(MENAFN - Khaleej Times) Generating a positive response from international and regional trade buyers on the first two days, Paperworld Middle East and Playworld Middle East are underlining the potential strength of the regional market. The co-located trade shows from Epoc Messe Frankfurt will run until 7pm today at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Viewed as an exciting growth area by both industries " the paper products and office supplies industry and the toys, games and children's lifestyle trade " the Middle East market is attracting the attention of manufacturers and suppliers worldwide, who see the trade fairs as ideal launch pads into the region.

The positive economic upturn in the region is driving demand for fresh office supplies across the Middle East. Going by the turnout at Paperworld Middle East over the first two days, regional traders, distributors and buyers are increasingly on the lookout for reliable suppliers and the latest innovations in the field.

"We launched Paperworld Middle East with much anticipation having seen a perceived white space in the market for such a trade event," said Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of Epoc Messe Frankfurt. "The flagship fair in Frankfurt had established a renowned name in the industry and we felt the time was right to bring that to this region. We have grown 18 per cent since our launch edition. We will continue to listen to the market and fine tune the event to meet market demands and expect to see a steady growth for this show in the coming years," he added.
