(MENAFN - Arab News) Alaa Al-Maliki, Mobily's acting CTO, highlighted in the presence of CEOs of global telecom companies Mobily's world records of achieving the highest volume in terms of data transmission and number of subscribers during GSMA in Barcelona, Spain.
He emphasized that the reliable infrastructures have contributed to the remarkable achievements, and the company's efforts to play a pioneering role in innovation based on GED strategy.
"Mobily fully understands the current trend of telecom sector in the region. That's why we have taken the initiative of investing in this sector for the high revenue and positive impacts that this sector gives," said Al-Maliki. He added that Mobily has set a new world record in daily 4G data transmission, which reached more than 400 terabytes per day, outperforming the previous numbers of 350 terabytes registered for 3G.
Mobily has been the sponsor of Mobile TV - the main media channel for the conference sessions of this global event. "This reflects the prestigious position we have among the global companies," he added.
