(MENAFN - Qatar News Agency) Qatar Chamber, the host organization of the ICC WCF 8th World Chambers Congress and Exhibition, today introduced its sponsors that, together, will make the four-day flagship event one of the largest in the world. At a press briefing held at Qatar Chamber, Chairman Sheikh Khalifa Bin Jassim Al Thani noted that the high profile list of sponsors features a rich mix of industries and stands as a testament to their commitment of accelerating Qatar's global standing, whilst also advancing the global business agenda.
"We are absolutely proud of the support of Qatar-based organizations in making the 2013 Congress one of the largest in the history of the Chambers Congresses. More than brand positioning or exposure, these organizations understand the value of promoting Qatar on a global platform such as the Congress as part of our mutual goal of advancing the Qatar National Vision 2030," said Sheikh Khalifa Bin Jassim Al Thani. The 2013 Congress will be held from 22-25 April at the Qatar National Convention Centre, in what will bring together the global community of over 12,000 chambers, hundreds of multinational businesses and SMEs, and many influential world leaders to the region for the very first time.
According to Sheikh Khalifa, the day-long ICC Business World Trade Agenda Summit on 22 April, ahead of the Congress, will be held under the patronage of HE Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jaber Al Thani, the Prime Minister, whilst the opening ceremony of the ICC WCF World Chambers Congress on 23 April will be under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar.
Organized biennially by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) World Chambers Federation (WCF), the Congress is the only international forum for the chamber of commerce leaders to share experiences, exchange insights, develop networks and address the latest business issues which affect their communities.
