Iranian parliament gets USD595b budget to approve


(MENAFN) The Iranian Parliament (Majlis) received a draft budget from the administration of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad standing at USD595 billion, reported Tehran Times. If approved, the budget would be 22 percent higher than that of the previous year. The bill has predicted a 40 percent drop in oil revenues compared to the current year's projected figure. It has forecast that oil revenues will hit about USD53.8 billion, 40 percent down year on year, according to the Fars News Agency.
