Flydubai adds 4 Russian destinations to its cargo network

(MENAFN) flydubai's CEO, Ghaith Al Ghaith, stated that the low-cost carrier's cargo division, which began operations last January, started services to Russia, reported Arabian Business. Al Ghaith said that the move comes as the company plans to expand its freighter business, adding that the operations will be serviced via its Boeing 737-800 planes. The CEO added that regular flights will be operated from Russia's Kazan, Samara, Ufa and Yekaterinburg, to the UAE. It is worth noting that flydubai has in place several interline deals with other airlines, such as Emirates Airline, Singapore Airlines and British Airways, to distribute cargo outside its own network.
