Al Maya Group plans to introduce more leading brands in UAE soon 

(MENAFN - Khaleej Times) Al Maya Group, one of the largest FMCG distribution companies in the Middle East, announced during the Gulfood 2013 that the company will introduce more leading brands in the UAE soon and also open more supermarkets across the GCC.

Al Maya Group has completed 30 years of operations in the Middle East.

In addition to distribution division, the group also has strong presence in retails sector supermarket chain in the country.

"We distribute major brands in the UAE including Diamond, American Garden, Pocari Sweat, Oranamin-C, Koka, Heinz, etc," Kamal Vachani, group director of Al Maya Group, said in a statement. "We are looking forward to introduce more and more leading brands in the near future," Vachani added. Al Maya Group has over 40 supermarkets and hypermarket in the UAE and other GCC countries.

We are planning to open more supermarkets in the GCC to have greater retail penetrations in the market. We have a big set up of distribution centre in Dubai to distribute food and non food items being imported from various parts of the world to cater to the needs of our valued customers," he said.

Over the years the company has grown to be household name in the UAE, he added.
