Turkey spares Egyptian goods from customs fees

(MENAFN) The Turkish government has decided to spare goods coming from Egypt from all customs fees, Daily News Egypt reported. This was announced during a conference regarding the Turkish economy's recent successes, jointly organized by the Egyptian Businessman Development Association (EBDA) and TUMIAD. Previously this month, Egypt's Federation of Tourist Chambers and the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies agreed to promote tourism between the two countries. Under the agreement, Egypt will provide preferential treatment for Turkish Airlines and discounted rates for Egyptian and Turkish touristic destinations. The total trade between the two countries reached USD4.2 billion in 2011 and went up from there to USD5 billion last year.
