(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Du has partnered with HTC to exclusively launch the HTC One in the UAE, offering users the opportunity to benefit from the telco's 4G LTE service in the country.
"The reason [of this exclusive partnership] is that both du and HTC share the same synergy that is customer-centric, tech-driven and one that makes a difference," Yasser Al Yousef, director of du's Premium Personal Market, told the media at the device's launch in Dubai. "Du's 4G LTE has been tested and proven that it works within the entire UAE, with up to 100mbps speed available commercially," he said.
Al Yousef added that du's network will be able to support speeds of up to 300mbps in the near future.
He also said that data plans for the HTC One are still to come, and that "this is only the beginning" of the collaboration between the two companies.
