Qatari charitable org. offers Tunisia new batch of aid


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Qatar Charitable Society announced Saturday that it has decided to give Tunisia a new batch of aid of USD 10 million to finance agricultural projects including wells drilling for irrigation water, creation of agricultural pathways and supporting agricultural cooperatives in 14 provinces. The representative of the Qatar Charitable Society in Tunis Mustafa Al-sati said in a statement received by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that provision of such assistance will be under the three agreements that were signed last night between the Qatari body and the Ministry of Agriculture of Tunisia. He added that the signing of these agreements is "a declaration of the start of the second phase of the project.
