(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Qatar Civil Aviation Authority Chairman Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Noaimi met with Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker to discuss Hamad International Airport's workflow, operational testing, and mechanism of preparation and processing ahead of the airport's official opening.
Eleven low-cost carriers are set to move to the new airport early April.
The meeting urged Qatari citizens to apply and participate in the operational simulations of traveling through the new airport, which will take place on February 25 and 27, and March 4 starting at 7.30 a.m. Those who want to participate can apply through sending an email to airport-trials qatarairways.com.qa
