(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) The Ministry of Business and Trade and Qatar University, represented by the College of Business and Economics, on Wednesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to activate a number of aspects of bilateral cooperation.
HE Minister of Business Trade Sheikh Jassim bin Abdulaziz bin Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani and QU President Prof. Sheikha Abdulla Al Misnad patronized over the signing at the ministry's headquarters. HE Sheikh Jassim bin Abdulaziz bin Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani stressed the significance of the MoU and to start a research partnership between government and academic agencies in order to increase the cognitive and technical depth to deal with the developments and challenges of operational and regulatory work in government agencies. For her part, Prof Sheikha Abdulla Al Misnad hailed the cooperation between QU and the Ministry of Business and Trade, which helps advance the growth of the country and keep pace with its vision and ambitions.
She added that the role of the university is not limited to the development of a promising Qatari generation, but goes beyond that to include cooperation with all state institutions through active participation in providing high-quality research and technical consultation in line with the implementation the Qatar National Vision 2030.
