Emirates to expand Philippines service


(MENAFN) Dubai-based carrier Emirates Airline unveiled plans to expand its service to the Philippines, in response to increasing demand, Arabian Business reported. The airline will begin daily, direct flights to Clark International Airport, its second destination in the Philippines, from October 1 this year. Clark International Airport is located in the province of Pampanga in Central Luzon, which is 80 km north of Manila. The province is house for 17 million people. The new route will be operated by a two-class Boeing 777-300ER, EK338 aircraft. Emirates has been flying to Manila since 1990 and currently offers a triple daily, non-stop service.
