(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) Bahraini Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of Bahraini Armed Forces, His Highness Emir Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has welcomed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He lauded the stance of UAE led by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan towards the Kingdom of Bahrain in the light of historic relations between the two countries, which are under the umbrella of the Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States.
Bahraini Crown Prince made the remarks today at Al Rifaa Palace, while receiving Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Fund for Development in the presence of Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain.
Bahrain News Agency quoted Al Suwaidi as saying: "The MoU reflects affinity of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the UAE leadership and people, as well as part of the UAE's keenness on continuing consolidation of the cooperation and coordination between the two countries based on the fraternal and historic relations."
