(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) The Emerging Corporate Banking unit (ECB) of Bank Sohar announced new initiatives to support the growing needs of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Oman. The bank provides a wide range of financial facilities and services to new and existing businesses.
In a press release, Dr Mohammed Abdulaziz Kalmoor, CEO of Bank Sohar, said, ''In line with the guidance and visionary leadership provided by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, we at Bank Sohar believe in the importance of partnering with SMEs' for a flourishing business sector in Oman. We acknowledge that a growing SME sector is vital for economic diversification which will in turn enhance employment opportunities for talented Omanis.''
The ECB unit of Bank Sohar is offering seminars and workshops for entrepreneurs to enable them to start their business ventures in a planned and structured manner. Topics such as business planning and cash flow management, marketing and human resources planning will be covered in the seminars. These events will be conducted in Muscat and other localities, and will be offered free of charge.
