(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways has boosted its services to Pakistan and Sudan, and disclosed plans to increase flights to Nigeria in March, Arabian Business reported.
The carrier said it has increased frequency to the northern Pakistan city of Lahore by 4 flights, operated by A320 aircraft, bringing the total weekly flights to the city to 11.
This will bring total weekly flights to Pakistan to 27, covering its four cities Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and Peshawar.
Since the start of flights to Lahore in 2006, Etihad Airways has carried more than one million passengers on this route.
Etihad has also boosted service to the Sudanese capital Khartoum from five weekly flights to a daily schedule.
The carrier also unveiled plans to upgrade its 6 weekly flights to the Nigerian capital Lagos service to daily on March 31.
