DFM, NASDAQ Dubai, DP World to inaugurate the first Company Focus Week 

(MENAFN - Emirates News Agency (WAM)) The exchanges will arrange similar programmes for other listed companies as part of their ongoing support to stimulate capital market activity in Dubai Dubai Financial Market (DFM) and NASDAQ Dubai have launched the first Company Focus Week , a dedicated outreach programme of activities providing investors and brokers a unique opportunity to hear first-hand from senior representatives of listed companies on their achievements, equity story and prospects. DP World, the flagship listing on NASDAQ Dubai, is participating in the first Focus Week.

It is the first in a series of week-long outreach projects to be organized by the two exchanges for various listed companies in coming months.

DP World's Focus Week activities bring senior executives of the company face to face with investors and brokers to answer their questions and share the company's equity story.

Mohammed Sharaf, Group Chief Executive Officer of DP World, delivered a presentation to share the latest developments at the company, as well as its strategic fundamentals, with an invited audience of over 70 brokers and investors on Monday, February 11, at the DFM Trading Floor, followed by a networking session.

Mr. Sharaf said: "As a global company based in the UAE, DP World has an exciting story to share with investors in its home country. Our flagship Jebel Ali terminal plays a pivotal role in facilitating global and regional trade and remains at the core of our investment story.

The DFM and NASDAQ Dubai exchanges operate as one market, using the same trading platform and bringing together international and regional investors. This provides companies listed on NASDAQ Dubai with the same visibility as those listed on DFM.
