(MENAFN Press) A vast majority of respondents in a recent survey on PPP stated that they were interested in learning more about Procuring and Negotiating PPP Agreements.

The areas within procurement that received the greatest interest were harmonizing PPP procurement with PPP project risk analysis, optimizing value for money and achieving public service outputs as well as understanding the perils of renegotiation of PPPs for public service.

After the success of the PPP Project Screening & Appraisal Techniques training that took place in Abu Dhabi, UAE in December 2012, IP3 and Innoverto are pleased to announce the next jointly sponsored infrastructure service course to take place in Dubai, UAE on the topic of Procuring & Negotiating PPP Agreements: Structure, Processes, and Techniques to Reach Contract Closure in Middle East Infrastructure Projects that will take place on April 28-May 1, 2013.

Other areas of interest according to the survey that was sent out to over 2000 professionals around the Middle East are: financial modeling and financial analysis of PPPs, regulatory aspects of PPPs for public service and sector specific PPPs such as health, education, transportation, energy or public facilities.

Tommy White, Director of IP3, states, "We had a very positive response to our first co-sponsored PPP Project Appraisal training course with Innoverto and are excited about joining them again for this important four-day PPP training in Dubai. In this follow-on course, we will equip managers and decision makes with critical skills and knowledge for effectively structuring, negotiating, and closing a PPP contract. Capacity development in this challenging piece of PPPs is critical to its success and viability."

Marie-Louise Adlercreutz, Managing Partner of Innoverto, states, "We aim to create a platform for the highest quality of PPP training in this region to support the increased demand of skilled PPP professionals as a result of these new projects."
