(MENAFN - ProactiveInvestors - Australia) Engineering contractor Monadelphous Group (ASX: MND) has been awarded 140 million worth of construction and maintenance contracts in the oil and gas, iron ore and water sectors.
The largest of these is a 90 million contract from JKC Australia LNG for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the gas export pipeline for Inpex Corporation's Ichthys LNG project onshore LNG facilities in Darwin, Northern Territory.
This is scheduled to be completed in early 2015.
Monadelphous has also secured in conjunction with pipeline design partner OSD, an EPC contract for a pipeline and delivery station for the Cape Lambert Petroleum Gas Pipeline for Rio Tinto in Western Australia.
Completion is pencilled in for the second half of 2014.
The company will also carry out design, construction and commissioning works for the upgrade of the Maleny Sewage Treatment Plant in Queensland for Unitywater as well as securing a 12 month extension to its general maintenance services contract with Chevron Australia for its oil operations at Barrow Island and Thevenard Island.
The Maleny upgrade is expected to be completed in the second half of 2014.
